Perform Laboratory Equipment Acquisition: Maintaining information for requested laboratory capital equipment on a SharePoint site. Apply financial asset tag to newly purchased lab equipment for multiple sites in NJ. Manage overall tagging process to ensure tags are applied in a timely manner
Laboratory Equipment Inventory Maintenance: Support Finance audits of laboratory equipment (ex. physical verification) Manage process of updating changes to the laboratory equipment inventory when equipment is moved or retired. This requires keying data into multiple Excel spreadsheets and submitting updates. Support ad-hoc requests to review data related to process in the laboratory equipment space
Laboratory Equipment Disposal: Submit updates to Finance for assets that have been donated or traded-in. Support cataloging equipment in warehouse as needed
o Maintain information for requested laboratory capital equipment on a SharePoint site
o Requisition new lab equipment in Ariba
o Apply financial asset tag to newly purchased lab equipment for multiple sites in NJ
o Send documentation along with tags to equipment owners to sites not located in the NJ area
o Manage overall tagging process to ensure tags are applied in a timely manner
o Submit information to Finance so that asset record can be updated in the asset ledger following the tagging process
o Serve as a primary liaison between the asset management processes and all key constituencies (asset owner, finance, etc.)
o Support Finance audits of laboratory equipment (ex. physical verification)
o Conduct semi-annual inventory on DEA-regulated equipment. Manage list of DEA-regulated equipment.
o Manage process of updating changes to the laboratory equipment inventory when equipment is moved or retired. This requires keying data into multiple Excel spreadsheets and submitting updates.
o Monitor end user process compliance and report issues to management.
o Support activities related to lab equipment service contract selections (as needed)
o Support ad-hoc requests to review data related to process in the laboratory equipment space
o Submit updates to Finance for assets that have been donated or traded-in
o Support cataloging equipment in warehouse as needed
• Minimum education required: a Four Year Degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum experience required: 2 + years in manufacturing environment
• Additional Education or Experience preferred.
